As you can see here at the SASCU Downtown Activity Center we work very hard and don't have any fun :P
The purpose of the society is:
a. To operate a youth centre which offers structured
programs that are directed towards resolving problems that are faced by youth;
b. To provide, administer and maintain a multi-use
community facility for the benefit and use of the community.
Our beginnings in 2002 started
with a goal of creating a sustainable access to resources for young people in
the community. Eight years later our centre vibrates with activity
from seven the morning to well into the evening hours and our progams stretch throughout the region.
