Thursday, July 22nd from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Downtown Activity Center young girls ages 8-12 will have the opportunity to be pampered!! Three local beauty specialists will give the girls FREE manicures, pedicures, hairstyles and make-up tips! Please call Mandella to register as it is limited to the first 15 girls!!

Tuesday July 20th and 27th from 3:00-5:00 for ages 13-17
Snag Golf uses the elements of golf in a fun game format. It falls somewhere between min-golf and regulation golf, allowing for full shots, pitching, chipping and putting.
Those who register ahead of time will have their name entered into a draw to go the Junior Golf Camp at The Salmon Arm Golf Club for FREE!!
Japanese Art Classes 

Every Thursday morning in July, Eiko Uhara will introduce young people ages 8-12 to different Japanese Art projects. This program will be running from 10-12 at the North Canoe Hall. Please register for this program as there is limited space.

July 12th-16th from 1:00-2:30 the North Canoe Hall and August 9th-13th from 1:00-2:30 the Downtown Activity Center will be the host to some CrAzY and FuN Science Experiments. This FREE week long program will introduce young people to interesting science facts and show them how to make neat science experiments using affordable materials! Please Register with Mandella!
Tennis

Camp
Doug Rawson, a certified Tennis Professional, will teach young people ages 13-17 Tennis skills at the Tennis Courts of Shuswap Middle School. August 16th-August 20th from 10:00-11:00 and 9:00-10:00 for the 8-12 age group. Bring your racket to the Tennis Courts and be prepared to learn and to have FUN!! (If the young person does not own a tennis racked and would still like to participate please contact Mandella ahead of time and provisions will be made).

Mandella is proud to have Kristal Burgess, Angie Blundell and Dawn Johnson come to the Downtown Activity Center to teach young people aged 8-12 and 13-17 about Photography on Thursday, August 5th from 9:00-3:00.
As well, Clixel will be giving a tour of their picture developing facility to these registered young people on the following Thursday, August 12th from 9:00-12:00.
The program is then completed with Ramona Makela teaching those registered how to use their developed pictures and creating unique and interesting cards, using Creative Memories supplies on Thursday August 19th from 10:00-12:00!
The last day of the program, Thursday August 26th, will be a catch-up time where participants can continue to work on their finished products.

Come out and enjoy playing games at the Downtown Activity Center. Each week a new game will be played or an activity will be presented. Games and activities range from Soccer to Water Games!!!
Party In The Park 

Fridays @ Parks around the Community from 10:00-12:00
Come and look for us at a Park in our Community and be prepared to participate in several activities and games. Each Friday we will be rotating between either Fletcher Park, Canoe Beach, Blackburn Park or Canoe Park in both months of July and August. See our Calendar for what Park we will be at on each Friday.
Outdoor Adventures
Ages 13-17 on Saturdays from 11:00-1:00pm
Every Saturday in July and August, we will be meeting at the Downtown Activity Center and venturing out on several interesting Outdoor Activities. Activities for July include: Survival Day, Hiking, Geocaching, Water Play and Outdoor Olympics. In August, Outdoor Adventures will be introducing: Bocce, Create a Sport, Medieval Sports Day, and You Tube Creation.
